“LIVE
ABOVE IT ALL”
The lifestyle at Renaissance Estates defies
description, unless “ultimate” comes to mind.
This is a concept that has truly come to fruition, envisioned
by Al Rattan, President of Renaissance Properties and
builder/developer extraordinaire.
He has brought forth the finest of dreams, the greatest of
visions, a true “Renaissance Man” having taken his inspiration
from a 16th Century architect named Andrea Palladio,
renowned for creating magnificent villas in Italy.
Rattan, like Palladio 450 years earlier, takes full advantage
of awe-inspiring views such as those found in the De Luz mountains
above to the ocean below when planning and building these elegant
country estates. It is
known that many of the wealthy during the Renaissance period often
constructed Roman-style villas on mountaintops encompassing
courtyards, fountains and stately entrances.
You will find the same elegance here in the hills of Temecula
straight from the hills of Tuscany.
It is interesting to note that the work of Palladio caught the
eye of none other than American statesman, Thomas Jefferson,
who was so taken by the artistry of Palladio that when he
designed his Virginia home he combined the great European traditions
of Palladio. The plan for Monticello echoes that of Palladio’s infamous
Villa Rotunda.
They say that words can describe what the eye doesn’t see but in
this case the eye can see it all and perhaps words are not enough. Imagine being able to conceive
of, build to suit and then own one’s personal kingdom just minutes
from the convenience of town. The
privacy, views, serenity and true villa living are well beyond what
most of us can conceive. Temperatures
are perfect ranging from least
ten degrees below the City of Temecula in the summer to ten degrees
warmer in the winter, further evidencing the ideal of Southern
California outdoor living. Image the lack of traffic and the proximity
to town for shopping, schools, dining and freeway access only minutes
from the privacy of your gated community.
There is also the added feature of living just above the
entrance of Temecula’s Historic Old Town and a few short miles from
the beauty and uniqueness of Temecula Wine Country with over 16
privately owned and award winning wineries literally in your own back
yard. In addition, there
are many fine and challenging golf courses from which to chose. Consider also the new Children’s Museum, and soon to open
Theater, both in Old Town. Does
living get any better than this!
Describing these palatial estates is no easy task.
Italy is not the only country featured here. Perhaps one desires the elegance of a French Chateau or the
influence of Spain as the ultimate choice.
The true richness and quintessential artistry of Mediterranean
living is what is exemplified in these hills.
To know that your neighbor will be sharing your level of taste
is important. And even
though each lot is sold separately, knowing that each will be designed
and constructed by the Renaissance professionals is reassuring in that
the finest of homes will surround you and not someone ‘s idea of
comfort by a quickly constructed mobile home.
Each estate sits on five acres and the positioning of that estate in
relationship to the lay of the land is vitally important when
considering the optimal views from both outside and inside living.
Renaissance Builders’ newest masterpiece, Villa Bella is
approximately 4,676 square feet.
Two distinctly different styles are the Classico (7,800 square
feet) in the Tuscany style and the Magnifique (7,200 square feet), a
French-styled country manor. The
Classico has two-stories, six bedrooms with an open-air,
mezzanine-styled office/library, formal living room highlighted by
pillared columns and a circular staircase, a family room accented by a
wet bar and walk-in wine cellar, plus an optional media room.
There is also a guesthouse on the estate grounds.
The Magnifique which was recently sold to the founders of the
Outdoor Channel, mimics the charm of an Old World castle while
capturing the unbelievable views of the Temecula and Fallbrook
Valleys. No detail was
left unturned as this palatial estate boasts a two story dramatic
entry with views to the ocean, a music room, wine room, huge great
room and five bedrooms. All
the estates have carefully planned kitchens to please the most
demanding of chefs and will accommodate the most simple of meals to
the most elegant.
If one has ever been naïve enough or brave enough to attempt
undertaking the actual building of their “dream house” or delve
into an endless remodeling project, they can appreciate the nightmares
that ensue. To pass from
the dream stage to the actual completion of that dream can be the most
stressful and anxious of times. Most
of us are not architects, builders, contractors, decorators, cost
experts, etc. and one must suspect that if that experience looms in
their past, the theme song for the future would be “Never Again!”
Rest assured, that the experience of actually acquiring your
dream home will be the most positive while in the hands of the
professionals surrounding you from start to finish at Renaissance
Estates.
An interesting concept, to note, is that after choosing your 5
acre parcel, your next challenge is to decide on which architectural
design would be the most enticing.
As exampled above, there are a variety of choices available and
now in use is a state-of-the art computer generating design
assistance, showing complete exterior and interior plans, compositions
of materials to be considered from the widest of possibilities to the
most minute. After you
have chosen your design and your lot, the team will take it from
there. The whole process
in their capable hands takes approximately 18 months from walking the
building plans through the city and county officials to the completion
of building. You will be consulted in any and all considerations along the
way until the day when you are handed the key to your dream.
At present there are four lots remaining in the current phase and then
eight remaining lots will be available in the springtime.
The most recent parcel, Lot 29, sold for $550,000, and Darin
Anderson of Rancon Real Estate reported the five acre lot sold for the
highest price recorded at this time. The Magnifique recently sold for $2,300,000 which, according
to Sonia Petrovski of Rancon Real Estate was the highest estate
closing in all of the Temecula Valley.
More than 50% of the total project has been sold. These estates
are one of a kind, thus the demand is high.
It isn’t very often that perfection is found these days
whether it be in service, attention to detail or the finished product.
This is the ultimate in all the above.
Your neighbors are all very discerning, discriminate and unique
in their passion for a lifestyle of luxury and perfection.
They put their dreams in the hands of Al Rattan and his team of
tried and true professionals. Mr.
Rattan is a perfectionist and expects nothing less from those he has
surrounding him as the best possible to be found anywhere.
The results are there for all to see.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
You won’t find anything better anywhere else. It’s definitely time to relocate here!
